Mole Biology

(Scalopus aquaticus) Grey in color this small animal weighs in on average of 2-4 ounces and has an overall length of 5-8 inches. Moles normally breed towards the end of February and Gestation is usually 45 days. A litter of two to five baby moles are born between mid-April and June. In warm climates, the young may be born as early as March.
